Keeps for 5-7 days.
STORAGE IN THE FREEZER
Wrap loaf in foil or plastic wrap and store in a freezer bag or airtight container.
Slice your loaf beforehand for easy grab-n-go toast.
HOW TO REFRESH YOUR BREAD "For a crunchy loaf"
In the oven :
Lightly spray the exterior of the loaf with water or quickly run the loaf under a running tap of water. You can also use a shallow pan of hot water to generate steam inside your oven or pour a glass of water on the bottom of the oven.
Place loaf inside a preheated 180c degree oven, directly on the rack, and allow to heat for 10 minutes. Let it cool to room temperature before slicing.
In the toaster :
Slice and toast is the fastest and easiest way to get your favorite loaf crunchy again.
From the freezer :
The night before use, allow loaf to thaw on the counter at room temperature. Follow the directions as above. If refreshing directly from the freezer, allow the loaf to refresh in the oven for 30-45 minutes until crisp to the touch.
